Education & Clinical Background
Mariela earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her healthcare journey began in high school and has included hands-on roles such as pharmacy clerk, medical assistant, and registered nurse. She gained extensive clinical experience working in several Las Vegas emergency departments, where the fast-paced environment strengthened her adaptability, clinical judgment, and ability to manage complex cases—laying a strong foundation for her transition into dermatology.

Originally from Southern California, Mariela has called Las Vegas home for the past 13 years. She enjoys taking family trips, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with her two dogs, Summer and Winter.
